Medical Hair Restoration Facts
Medical hair restoration/replacement takes hairs from a healthy portion of the scalp and re-plants them in balding or thinning areas. In some cases, small skin grafts from the healthy area are grafted to the thinning area. There is a very thin scar that will result but isn't visible. There is a procedure where a balloon is placed under the skin of the scalp. A portion of the balding area is removed and the new skin growth flapped over the removed spot. This is very complicated and can be very painful. These are permanent procedures. The hair grows as the rest of the hair will grow.
Medical Hair Restoration Myths
